This book is based on the author’s experience in parenting a child with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Children with this disorder need special attention as some of the symptoms include finding it difficult to wait, grabbing things that does not belong to them, pushing other children and act or behave in risky ways.

The thing that caught my attention about this useful guide is the attention to details. The author knows how to talk directly to parents to let them know what to look for at stages of the child’s development. For example, what parents might see during their child’s middle school years. I found this book to have information that can guide parents with their ADHD child. I highly recommend it.
