About this listen

When the death rate of sperm whales rises dramatically, a well-respected environmental activist puts together a ragtag team to hit the high seas to investigate the matter. They suspect that the deaths are due to poachers and they are all driven by a need for justice.

Elsewhere, an experimental government vessel is enhancing deep sea mining equipment. They see one of these dead whales up close and personal...and are fairly certain that it wasn't poachers that killed it.

Both of these teams are about to discover that poachers are the least of their worries. There is something hunting the whales...

Something big
Something prehistoric.

Something terrifying.

I do love these stories, take a unlikely situation add an impossible creature. Let the story making begin.
Not the classic but a good tale nonetheless.
Read it and enjoy it,

I really enjoyed this book from a new author to me. Uncomplicated and a little predictable maybe but it was pure entertainment. A monstrous prehistoric fish is killing sperm whales and takes umbridge when experts invade his waters to try and stop him. Steve Connors narration was excellent and brought the whole situation to life. Highly Recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review voluntarily.

The story itself was very thin. I couldn’t bond with any of the characters as we never really got to know them. I felt their reactions to the fantastical events around them were very subdued, and the plot was predictable. I enjoyed the narrator, although his range of character voices is a little limited and added to my inability to care about them. However, I feel with more practice, he would be capable of taking on much bigger stories.

I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Enjoyable but predictable
