About this listen
Critic reviews
"Geoffrey Howard's performance is superb; he is clear and unhurried, giving just the right emphasis and/or inflection....Whether or not one agrees with Lewis's arguments, it is a pleasure to hear such a skillful reading of an eloquent work." ( Library Journal)
I agree with all the points that C.S. Lewis is trying to establish. Even though, some supporting arguments / illustrations / analogues are not 100% watertight (when examined at epistemology level). However, it is a minor if not trivial price to pay in exchange of assessability.

I have listened to it once and found it interesting and informative. I am currently listening to it for a second time, and hope that I will understand more this time around. I am sure it will help with my quest and if you have a similar one that it will help you.
One final word of warning. This book is a book of it's time - the 1940's. Some of Lewis's statements about e.g. women, homosexuals and war - are strickingly non PC. Although dis-inclined to accept his views on these subjects I do not think that this negates his entire thesis, but if you would be inclined to do so it may not be the book for you.
