Simplistic storylines, Poorly written and appalling recorded from the bottom of a bucket. I enjoy cosy mysteries, these are not mysteries, and far from enjoyable.

I love cosy mysteries especially if they have some humour, suspense and witty dialogue. This collection was threadbare in all accounts and I was left disappointed. I didn't like all of the stories because I felt like they lacked action. Everything we learn about the case happens through dialogue and the information is relayed after the fact during interviews.
I was particularly disappointed in the ending of 'College Can be Murder.' It was very rushed and I couldn't get over the actions of the PI. I couldn't believe that's how she handled the situation. I didn't like it.

I've read some of Meredith Potts work before and enjoyed them as light escapist reading.
The stories are quick reads. You can listen to each book in a few hours.

The narration sounded very tinny to the ear and it didn't sound like it was made in a professional studio. The narrator's actual performance of the story and characters was quite good otherwise.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy provided by the author at my own request.

Very simplistic, light reading
