This book is really well written. The author Dr. Jordan Burns really goes into detail behind mindfulness, like the subconcious and the ego, which I really found interesting. There are many mindfulness books out there but I like the scientific slant the author pulls in to help you understand why mindfulness works. This audiobook also has practice techniques for using breath and visualization as well. Overall, this has everything you need to get started or to go further into using mindfulness in your life. Well done!

I'm a huge believer in how having a positive mindset affects every area of our lives. I love how this book connects that to our health nd well-being - especially as it pertains to living a pain-free life (or at least one with less pain in it). I especially enjoyed the chapters on Gratitude and Positive Affirmations.
