About this listen

As the first anniversary of the formation of the Kings Lake murder squad approaches, there is a problem—they've run out of murders. As a result, they are given the task of reviewing unsolved cold cases. One of these comes back to life in unexpected ways as the team try to discover the identity of the young woman whose body was found in the Norfolk countryside two decades ago. And even if they can give her a name, how can they possibly find her killer after so many years?

The third in the King's Lake series. A great storyline, perfectly written, interesting, bringing out more depth in the usual main characters. The narration was first class as usual.

Great.

Cold case this time and no DC Smith ,just echos Of him . I enjoyed this very much . The cold case was intriguing, hope he writes more of them . Maybe DC could come out of retirement and assist on the next one . Beautifully narrated by Gildart Jackson as always .

Love this series

Authentic stories that don’t insult the intellect. This is the fourth in the series and I can recommend them all up to present.

Believability

I cant stop listening to these books. I love DC Smith and his very dry sence of humour. Walters and Butler have evolved together from book one.

They just get better.

This was such a good book made really special by the narration of Gildart Jackson. He is the perfect person to listen too reading Peter Grainger’s books. I’m about to go on to listen to another.

Superb performance
