I’m going to dive straight into this review since this is a short holiday novella and a Cinderella retelling. I highly recommend picking up the audiobook as Connor and Persephone did a brilliant job bringing this story to life.

I really enjoyed this novella. Cinderella is one of my favourite retellings, so I knew going in that I’d love it. Starting with Sachi, her best friend is married to one of the Moretti men, who is part of the mafia. So spending a night with a detective and the fear of him discovering who she’s connected to hangs over her like a constant weight. Sachi is sweet, beautiful, and just wants to be someone different for one night, and that unforgettable evening meant everything to her.

Then we have Dean, the MMC, who is a walking “mandy cane” a term that genuinely made me laugh. I loved the way Dean carries himself confident, flirtatious, and completely obsessed with Sachi. Their chemistry was instant, and the balance between storyline and spice worked perfectly. I won’t lie I’m a sucker for the use of Sir and Daddy, so those scenes absolutely hit the mark for me.

A quick fun, festive, spicy Cinderella retelling that delivers exactly what it promises.

🎧🎄✨ I LOVED listening to Mistletoe Masquerade by Jill Ramsower! The holiday vibes were great , the chemistry was so fun, and the narration made it impossible to stop listening. Such a cozy, feel-good romance. The narrators were absolute perfection!

This one was an enjoyable holiday romance. It ties into a mafia series, but you only get the characters here and not any of the mafia like action. This one is funny, sweet, and spicy instead so it does hit the other things that you might be looking for.

I really enjoyed these two together and the narrators did a great job matching the vibe these characters have. They each did really well with and side characters they voiced as well and it made it like listening to an audio movie. Highly suggest giving this one a go for a quick holiday romance.

This book is part of the Moretti Men series, a mafia romance. Dean and Sachi’s story is fast-paced, passionate, and fun, with strong insta-attraction and sizzling chemistry. I enjoyed the romance and loved seeing familiar faces from earlier books. Connor Crais and Persephone Lee delivered an excellent narration that brought this short story to life.
