About this listen
Levi Montbard and Yasmine Hassani have found the prize of a lifetime in treasure and in love. Now they’re looking forward to their wedding and returning to find what else might be hidden in the Sahara Desert to kick off their honeymoon. An anonymous coded book sent to them as a wedding present might alter those plans.
The initial treasure is only the beginning of their quest, for some in the church want the mystery of the female Templar Knight to stay hidden. Even with a new and more liberal Pope, the Vatican doesn’t want any other embarrassments.
Levi and Yasmine are once again pulled into a world of hidden secrets and shadowy dangers. Along with their families, they’ll search for the things that matter most important to them and the moments they treasure with each other.

Part way through this audiobook I had the strong feeling that this audiobook had a prequel. I looked at Ali Vali titles and found, yes, indeed it does! It is a real shame about the lack of information from Audible and I feel quite cheated by them.
Although I picked up a broad outline, without having listened to "A Woman To Treasure", I struggled to keep up with the intricacies of the plot and get a real grasp of the characters and their relationships. That's a shame because it seems an interesting storyline but I am not sure whether I will understand enough of what is going on in this audiobook to finish it.
Paige McKinney does a good job as narrator. Although her British English accent is not 100% convincing to British ears, it's better than most American narrators manage and differentiates the characters well.
I have rated this book based on how much better I imagine it would be if I had known to listen to the first in the series before this.
N.B: Read "A Woman To Treasure" before this...
