I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this book as Ms Eclair is not my most favourite performer. She is now a favourite author! Moving was an emotional read both sad, tender and funny. A really accurate portrayal of complex family relationships with brilliantly drawn characters who o loved and hated in turn. An excellent read.

two thirds through I lost a little interest but I'm so glad I persevered.
A rich tale of the intricacies of a family life over decades. with an unpredictable outcome.
well read and enjoyable to listen to whilst myself packing up to move home!
I would recommend it to those who, like myself have enjoyed Mauve Binchy over the years.
