About this listen

Mrs. Bennet fled from Longbourn with her lover and Jane two months after Elizabeth was born, leaving little Elizabeth behind with Mr. Bennet.

Mr. Bennet dedicated his life to raising Elizabeth the best he could. Mr. Bennet had loved Elizabeth dearly from the first time he picked his little girl up and she smiled her baby smile at him, and grabbed at his sideburns. When Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy arrive in the neighborhood, Elizabeth finds herself falling in love with Mr. Darcy. He makes her heart flutter, and he respects her like nobody but her father respects her.

What will happen when Elizabeth’s long departed mother returns to Meryton after being absent for twenty years?

A heartwarming and romantic novel about family, love and forgiveness.

I found this variation a fascinating story. It held my mind from beginning to end. I have listened to it about 3 times on audio.
Excellent narration. Each time I have enjoyed it very much.
Elizabeth grows up under the tender and loving care of her dear papa that is until her mother comes back into their lives.
The condition from which Mr Bennett, Lizzy and Jane suffers helps solve a mystery.
Darcy himself has his own story to tell which equally causes him much concern. he is a kind Darcy with much wisdom.
The two complicated background, sets for our two main characters a frustrated yet delightful, very interesting story. one which gives people time for pondering on mistakes made and forgiveness.
I love it!
Highly recommend.

very interesting variation
