There are so many things to recommend this book. The follow up to the first instalment is well crafted and mesmerising. I loved the way Nora gets further defined in this case. Brilliant story. Can’t wait for Book 3!

I have listened to every book Jess Kidd has written and have always been delighted. The stories are fabulous, her use of language is delicious and they never disappoint. I do hope there will be more. Addictive ...

Struggled a bit with the new narrator. Strange inflection sometimes and characters not so distinguishable. Also very fast! I often speed up the narration but had to dial this back a bit so I could take in the plot. Not enough tp put me off though as the storylines are so good.

Loved it! Brilliant sequel to Murder at Gulls Nest and hope there’s more to come in this series. Phillippa Dunne’s narration is excellent and really makes Nora Breen come to life. Would highly recommend if you like cosy crime capers!
