The characters are annoying (Arni particularly), the giving of gender pronouns to characters and the way some of the characters speak is very forced and not a natural addition to the story telling.
We have listened to a lot of audio books on car journeys and we all couldn’t wait for this one to finish! We only carried on with it as my son needed to read it for a reading challenge at school.
