Very easy to get lost in the narrative of this book. The narrator does a superb job of capturing the different characters in a very entertaining series of navel adventures. Loved this book. The author really does an excellent job bringing the characters life in this fictional history of life at sea during the Napoleonic wars.

Easy listening no challenge when in the mood for simple yarn...even if it stretches your belief to breaking point occasionally. Kidds escape from the Knore for example.

However, once again!!! The Royal Navy is fighting for Britain not just England, unless talking about that particular corner of the country. It realy grates every time it is England and English is used meaning the Britain.

The Julian Stockwin & Christian Rodska combo is unbeatable. I don't think it could be better dramatized if the author himself was reading it. The whole series is fantastic.
