...he sees red flags and charges straight at them. Also he'll probably gonna get stabbed for looking at another woman at some point after this book. But aside from that, sure a good well performed story.

West does a great job of the genre, yes she’s a bit much but not over-the-top .
Well written and relatively balanced, with a small town kind of vibe rather than higher stakes( ironically)
My only issue is this is a one hitter , with no planned follow up, despite the world being built up and balanced superbly , so a future entry within world/universe or nods to content within other works would be awesome to see.

I genuinely enjoyed the listen/read regardless, but kinda want a bit more which is a great sign that it’s well written to encourage a further want from the portrayed world put forward.

Well worth the listen, many stars.
