The truth is Nick has been in love with Matt for years, he's never said a word nor made a move as Matt is straight. However after a night with the family, a nice dinner and a few drinks Nick's father reveals a few too many secrets to Matt and when Nick learns about it he too turns to the bottle. Matt for his part is accepting, understanding and laid back about it all, even after Nick kisses him. Yes, he might need a walk and some time to work it all out for himself, but Matt, being Matt, is the chilled, go-with-the-flow one of the pair, balancing Nick's overthinking!
Full of Christmas cheer, the fun and games that always come with family gatherings, heart-searching, passionate confessions and the wonderfully dry humour that Romeo Alexander manages to slide in this book works brilliantly in audio. I was hooked, I have read it for myself but listening to Michael Ferraiuolo expertly navigate the story, the voices, the passion behind every word, has taken it to a new dimension.

Matt and Nick have been friends for years, however Nick has been in love with Matt for a bit. Matt has no other family other than his team and Nick, so he spends the holiday with Nick and his family. What a blast! Liquor loosens lips - resulting in feelings being revealed. Also, Nick's family get in on the action of getting the men to get together, with sometimes hilarious results! Fun story!
I love Michael Ferraiuolo's performances and this was really good, though I was not fond of the voice he chose for Matt (a personal thing, since it was good, just not for me). Overall, it's is a great way to enjoy the book. Definitely recommend :)

Story - another good addition to a very enjoyable series. Two MCs who were affectionate best friends from the moment they met and featured in the group in book 2. This story focussed mostly on the thoughts and feelings of both and how they overcame their respective insecurities.

Matt spends Christmas holidays with Nick’s family. The two have been best friends for a long time, but Nick has much more feelings for Matt. He doesn’t have the guts to admit his feelings to Matt, because Matt is straight.
I love the two characters Nick and Matt and the development they make over the course of the story. Nick is lucky to have such a great family! And then the Christmas season takes an unexpected turn.
The story is sweet and romantic – a great feel-good story in which humor is not neglected. The emotional moments were so great. What a wonderful story!
Michael Ferraiuolo does a great job as narrator. He gives different voices to the different characters, breathing life into them. I think it's great that you always know which protagonist is speaking. He tells the story with a lot of feeling and it is great fun to listen to him.
If you like friends-to-lovers stories, this is the one for you. I absolutely recommend "My Kind of Christmas. " A great story that was great narrated. More of this please!
