THE RICHARD & JUDY BOOK CLUB PICK AND NATIONAL BOOK AWARD NOMINEE, FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF NO ONE HOME

A SECRET THAT WILL CHANGE LIVES FOREVER

When Emily Kane arrives at her sister Carrie's house, she finds the front door unlocked and no one inside.

Dinner's cooking, the TV's on. Carrie, her husband and their two daughters are gone.

When the police draw a blank, Emily asks missing persons investigator David Raker to find them. It's clear someone doesn't want the family found.

But as he gets closer to the truth, Raker begins to uncover evidence of a sinister cover-up, spanning decades and costing countless lives.

And worse, in trying to find Emily's missing family, he might just have made himself the next target . . .

For a few years I've been trying to read the hard copy of this book. Twice I got halfway through before having to start reading it again due to the break I had between reading.

I downloaded the audiobook, which made it so much easier to take in everything that was happening.

Another great story by Tim Weaver.

Tim Weaver does it again! Yet another outstanding thriller. He clearly goes to great lengths to research his storylines to produce stories with intrigue and excitement in bucket loads!! No flimsy,
predictable stories here! And it goes without saying that Joe Coen is excellent in his narration and his accents making the listen all the more enjoyable. His skill in portraying David Raker is exemplary and allows the listener to really get in tune with the character. Adam James is also fabulous adding an extra dimension. I can’t say enough great things about Tim, Joe, Adam and the production team. Just amazing.
