Summary

When Sydney police department sex crimes detective Harriet Blue is called into her boss’s office, she never imagined it would be to tell her that her brother is the prime suspect in the brutal murders of three women.

Shocked and in denial, Harry is transferred to Perth to avoid the media exposure this case will attract. Harry is sent into the outback – the never never – to investigate the disappearance of mine worker Danny Carter. The mining town is a seedy place, full of money and immoral ways to spend it. As Harry delves deeper into the murky lives of these miners, she finds that Danny isn’t the first to go missing.

Critic reviews

It's all delightfully Mad Max-ish, and more than a tad gothic, with the added joy of yet another feisty female warrior who is always going to win the war but not the battle.

OK but not the normal flow or gripping storyline expected now from James patterson. but can't complain really as the author is a genius.

What would have made Never Never better?

James Patterson is one of my favourite authors. I have read nearly all his books, held him up as an example of a great story teller who can write gripping books without the use of foul language......until now. The F word was used over and over b nearer all the characters, bad enough to read it, but to have it ring in my ears, enough said.

Any additional comments?

Please Mr Patterson, no more swearing
