This book was a Really nice surprise. I particularly like the tone of the writer and the reader managed to express the story so well I could visualise all of it like a movie

I do like my rock and pop history, especially those with a different angle to a familiar place or persons. And this is right up there. So not just the artists mentioned in the blurb but also key places such as Greenwich Village and New York in general. A view from the inside from someone who is now on the outside. Excellent.
