I loved this book! It managed to keep me guessing and then it ended in a way that I am now desperate to read the next book!

there's very few series like this where I can listen to this far along but this one's so good. my only criticism is that by now we all probably understand the back stories and his powers, how he uses them and how he got them but al k line seems to like to have his MC waffle on quite a bit. it can be repetitive and unnecessary. however the characters and world building is so good it's totally forgivable

etcher pratchett and has made me laugh and chuckle ? Enjoyed it imensly although still feel descriptive writing could be a little less but altogether loved it i. Off to find book four !

These are enjoyable easy listens. I love the narration, it was the Gildart Jackson that drew me to these books in the first place. I do keep thinking of Alex Verus; it doesn't help that the stories are quite similar as well, but all in all, a pleasant way to spend an hour or two.

Fast paced and funny. The narration is excellent and the story engages. I listened to the whole thing in one go. I would highly recommend this whole series.
