I found it almost impossible to listen to at times. As an emotional tale it is outstandingly original. As the story unfolds there are clearly some 'holes' that get filled in later on so, if you don't appreciate this type of narrative manipulation, it's something to consider but, overall, it is well worth immersing yourself in. My one quibble is that there was one too many twisty bits at the end!

Harrowing but compelling

An absolutely brilliant listen.
Kia is a clearly a very clever well researched writer. I feel like I know the sisters covered in this book and have started researching the devastating skin condition that plays the main motivation about the story.
Twists and turns await you!

I love finding an author I haven’t listened to before and can’t get enough of their books!
I’ve recently listened to Those People Next Door which I also found fantastic and am running to download Take It Back.
