I’ve tried reading Nicomachean Ethics before and honestly struggled. This audiobook version changed that completely. The narrator has a very balanced tone, engaging without being theatrical. He emphasizes the right parts of sentences, which really helps with understanding the argument. Combined with the modern translation, it makes a difficult text feel surprisingly approachable.

The content is undeniably valuable, but this is not a light audiobook. It demands attention and reflection. If you’re looking for something easy to listen to in the background, this may not be it. Still, the translation itself is solid.

I thought this would be purely theoretical, but it’s surprisingly practical. The whole idea of building character through habits really stuck with me. I found myself thinking about my own decisions while listening, which I didn’t expect from a text this old.

Way more practical than I expected
