Each chapter, designed to be listened to before bedtime, pulled me in to a dreamlike world of eerie characters and a storyline so gripping that I ended up binge-listening to it all in one go.

If you enjoy being gently scared to sleep, this is a perfect fit. Spooky and soothing in equal measure. A five star listen

Absolutely loved this. Great writing, and the narrator’s voice has a gentle calming quality to it that makes the scares even scarier! Looking forward to more, highly recommended.

This is such an experience. From clowns to demons, sirens to cults. There’s really something for everyone. But the way you’re pulled into the stories by the narrator and the soundscape makes this really special.

As a big fan of horror I love to find spaces where people are progressing the genre and feel like Night Tales with Cornelius Darkly is doing just that. I did listen before bed, but that did not mean I slept! I just had to find out what happened, are the stories connected? It’s a rollercoaster of horror nostalgia and I can’t wait to get stuck into Volume 2.
