Lily Ann is doing her best to care for her siblings after the death of their parents and works as an escort catering to women. Kathleen works as an accountant and is still grieving the loss of her wife. Fate brings these two together as Kathleen hires Lily Ann to have someone to talk to and this turns out to be a healing process for both of them. This leads Kathleen to take the chance on a work colleague Bonnie who she develops feelings for. At the beginning of the book I was a bit confused with all the supporting characters as to who was who, being an audiobook, but soon worked it out and this cast of characters truly added to the story. This book explored some serious topics but was also funny in places. The narrator had good pacing and overall I enjoyed this book.
