Well he’s not Harry Bosch but I like his character and would happily read another book. A good story which was a slow burner but once I got into it I enjoyed it.

In contrast to other reviews I really enjoyed this. It’s more similar in style to early Bosch, with lots of procedural description. If MC continues this as a series I think it’ll need to get a little more gritty and some of the peripheral characters a little less cliched. But overall really good and kept me listening.

I really enjoyed this new character from the author. The story felt fresh and different to what has been before. I did think the ending was a bit abrupt though, but maybe that was because I wanted to find out what happened after that! Really good listen, would recommend.
