I love this, goes along quite nicely. Not quite a love story but all well that ends well. Great characters.

Having read the, for MC anyway, poor reviews I was pleasantly surprised. The author has set the bar very high with his previous books and you tend to use that as the benchmark understandably. I enjoyed the story and Stilwell could easily develop in future books. Not a fan of that sort of ending but that’s just me. Narration helps to make it an easy listen so give it a go.

Bosch and Haller it ain’t but ……..

kept thinking I was listening to a Bosch book and had to keep remembering that it was supposed to be a different character. did not seem like a book by one of my favourite authors. more like a first book attempt

predictable and so like the Bosch series ( which I like)
