I'm really enjoying this new author, although more than the rest of the series, I found this narrative quite difficult to follow. Seems as though a lot of new characters were quickly brought in to make the story tie together, then taken out again. Would have preferred a bit more character development for this approach, as I feel a little confused with the story line.

I as found the female narrator a little hard to listen to when accents were required, though there has been a noticeable improvement from the first book.

Alexei and Vivienne have been kept apart for 24 years, and in this book, we find out why. If you just keep listening, you won't find this hard to follow at all. There are new characters introduced, but who they are is explained as the story develops. We knew Alexei was not to be messed with, but GD! Vivienne is a BADASS 😳 Next!!!!
