Summary

The Noobtown saga continues with Noob Game Plus, the eagerly awaited sequel to top Audible-ranked Dungeons and Noobs, from a LitRPG author at the top of his game. Join the millions of listeners who have enjoyed Johnathan McClain’s hilarious portrayal of Jim; his shoulder demon, Shart; his animal companion, Badgelor; and so many other unforgettable characters.

What happened?

The last thing Jim remembered was being tossed unceremoniously through the Demon Door. Now, he's right back where he first started his adventure, sans demon and badger. Jim’s got to make some fast choices if he has any hope of making it back to Windfall and defeating Charles. But after Jarra's death, is Windfall even what he wants anymore?

I thought this chap couldn't fit in any more perfect Star Wars references than last time around, I was wrong.

Fair warning, I usually review these books fairly drunk.

Joking aside, if you're bothering to read this review after having having read/ listened to all the other books in the series, Shart would politely refer to you as a "dumb dumb"

Buy it, crack open bottle or of wine or two, boot up your favourite RPG, and tune reality the fuck out.

Seven stars, a tour de force!

Really enjoyed this instalment, probably my favourite. Not done a review in a while but his one stirred me to extend my appreciation. Let’s get my niggle out of the way (in hindsight, it was more wishful thinking) I’m a fan of grimdark so as it looked it would develop more in that way I grew increasingly excited. Unfortunately it fell back to the more traditional trope of good vs evil and we really don’t want to kill things that resemble humans but if you’re not you’re fair fodder (yawn). Once reacclimatised to the fact that we were firmly cemented in the settings of standard morality you can’t but help but appreciate that this is a very entertaining and funny instalment.
Interesting direction on character development and balancing an OP character (I like the OPness) . Loved the big battle and the banter was great. The over arching story theme loomed in the background but it didn’t progress much but it does leave you wanting more. Missed some of the characters and I am hoping to see them again in book 6. Mr Rimmel, Thank You. Really pleased that this book continues to improve the series.
