Summary

The truth is coming. The end is near....

With Earth in chaos and life on New Kerguelen shaken like never before, a discovery on the mysterious world of Sanctuary blows apart humanity's understanding of just about everything.

The consequences are almost unfathomable, the urgency unprecedented, and the revelations of a kind that even Dan McCarthy isn't ready for.

One way or another, nothing will ever be the same. And this time, it's final....

Loved it!

If you enjoyed the others in this series, there is no reason why you should not enjoy this just as much.

I do realise why some people find this series annoying, but it depends on what you are doing when you are listening to them. I am listening last thing at night in bed, and as my mind wanders to thoughts of the day, I am constantly drawn back into the story and the recapping style of the author means I don't miss anything. It is the same aimless thrills that seem to annoy some reviewers, that I enjoy so much. All the books have been far fetched, but that is the fun of it. You need to be able to suspend your disbelief and be able to chuckle at some of the more outlandish plot lines. Yes, I'm laughing up my sleeve at a lot of it, but it is fun and relaxing.

It could easily be told in half the time, but I enjoy it as a nightly instalment for a couple of hours. With its ongoing recapping it is more like an audio soap opera and I have enjoyed it immensely., I do appreciate the slow pace (and long sentences) could annoy others, but there is a story here and the story is good.

I really like the narrator and am going to seek out some more audiobooks by him (I've already noticed a vampire fantasy one), and I will keep an eye out for the authors other works.

This series is definitely 'martmite'; you will love it or loathe it. But for me, it was a fond and affectionate farewell to characters whose company I have enjoyed.

A great ending to the series

Best story so far, got a little crazy at a couple of points but quickly redeemed itself, hopefully John Cole and his terrible accent will be confined to history, looking forward to the next instalment

Best so far,

I have enjoyed all the books in this series and this is no exception. It gripped me from start to finish, a lot of aspects wrapped up and a great ending. Highly recommend!

I was unsure how it would all turn out after events and build up in previous installments but he did it and did it very well!

Loved pretty much everything about this series!
