Summary

I’m supposed to care for a kid, not create one!

I loved the dual narration of Jack Calihan and Kelley Huston

Abby is a nurse who loves looking after sick children. She is offered the chance to do the same on an alien planet, Abby takes the opportunity, but there are consequences. Instead of a nursing contract, Abby finds out she has signed a breeding contract.. Oh boy does the fur fly and the heat goes up a couple of notches.

This was a little different for other Roxie Ray books. It wasn’t so here are there. The plot was straight forward and doesn’t have many holes that I can see.
I love how the couple understands from the beginning that being together would be hard and maybe it isn’t such a good idea. They are allowed to grow and learn from each other and other characters around them.
The narrators are pretty good at being the characters a live. There was a little issue with weird sounds in the background and a lot of mouth sounds... like licking or smacking of the lips.
I would recommend others to give this one a try.

The Intergalactic Exchange Program tricks Abby, she believes she is going to be a nurse for Kain the Great the ruler of Raider. Kain thinks he has bought a contact for Abby to carry his child. Not the best start to their relationship. This is a great story, the characters are likable and engaging. The choice of narrator is excellent. Another great story in this series.

Abby thought the contract said she was to be a nurse for Kane’s child however it said she was to be a breeder. Although she insisted the contract said nurse Kane thought she was just in it for money until his aid said someone had intentionally written the contract knowing humans would not see their language . After a few up and even more downs things work out for them both. Kelley and Jacks narration was perfect and I hope to see them team up more often 🙂

Abby is a caregiver and loves looking after sick children. When she is offered the chance to do the same on an alien planet, she takes the opportunity, but there are consequences. Instead of a nursing contract, Abby is duped into signing a breeding contract...and she doesn't take too kindly to that.

This story was just ok. There are no surprises and nothing exciting happens, but a decent story nevertheless.
