Summary
The first rule of business is that you don’t mix it with pleasure. But if you do get involved with your business partner? Try not to knock him up because it goofs up the dividends.
Tired of the playboy lifestyle, Gabe Smythe is ready for change. To start his new life, he’s come to Hollydale with one goal - to reunite with his long-lost brother, Rafe. Along the way, if he happens to meet a sweet omega who’d make a nice little homemaker, even better!
Cody Harper isn’t looking to settle down, and he’s definitely not ever tying himself to anyone. Casual sex and friends with extra-special benefits? Sure! Romance and relationships? Nope. Not gonna happen, especially not with Gabe, his sexy business partner at Nut Juices, the hot, new smoothie shop they run together with the help of their quirky employee, Tofer.
Can their friendship and partnership survive an accidental pregnancy? As Cody and Gabe laugh their way from partners to friends with bennies to co-parents, they’ll discover that life isn’t always black and white, and sometimes, a little compromise comes in handy.
Return to the world of Hollydale with a quirky, holiday romance full of all the fluffy feels and sweet heat that you’d expect from a Hollydale story. This is the tenth book of The Hollydale Omegas series but is absolutely perfect to listen to as a stand-alone.
Please note: This book is for listeners who are 18 and above only, please! And yes, this book contains M/preg, adults adulting in sexy grown-up ways, and way more than an occasional use of potty mouth language.

This chapter in the Hollydale saga features Cody, currently a waiter at the Sausage Shack who has now earned his Business degree after several years of courses, and he's written up his business plan for his Nut Juices shop that he's been aiming to start-up for years. He's even got the perfect location if he can find the financing to lease the space, but he's disappointed when the bank won't take a chance on him as he has no collateral, but when he walks into Gabe, who has come to town looking to settle down and reconnect with his older brother Rafe and his family, the perfect opportunity presents itself to both men.
I love how they work together to get the Nut Juices flowing and make a successful go of their new start.
Highly recommended for all lovers of MPreg and quirky, fun Omegas and the Alphas that they manage to tame.

I really like the Hollydale series because it shows how family don’t have to be blood to be true. In Nutmeg Spiced Omega Gabe (who’s brother Rafe was in book 1) comes to Hollydale. Looking to build a relationship with his brother starts a chain of events and results in him meeting Cody. I really liked both main characters. Gabe was trying to change his reputation and how he set about this endeared him to me. Cody has so many walls and I loved discovering why these walls were in place. The ensemble of side characters were hilarious and sweet. Tom is crazy, in a good way!, and Tofer is sooooo sweet. Good narration from Drew Bacca - clear and crisp with nice differentiation between the characters.

I wasn't too sure what to think of Gabe at first, although I was more willing to giving him a chance than his older brother Rafe was. He grew on me, though, and I liked that he was willing to work hard with Cody to make their business a success and that he was so supportive of Cody overall. I liked Cody and I thought he was great with Gabe. His reticence to marry Gabe made Gabe put more of an effort in their relationship and realize that this was what he really wanted.
As always, it was great catching up with Tom and especially Tofer, he's such a sweetheart and I hope this isn't the last we see of him.
The book was sweet and hot and just a tad angsty for good measure. Drew Bacca did a great job with this book, his voice is very pleasant and he really brings the characters to life. Having him singing as Tom and Colin was definitely a highlight for me!
Recommendable!
Another solid addition to the series!
