About this listen

During a time of political and social unrest in Egypt, a god-like force, Nyarlathotep, emerges. He travels the land dazzling people with electricity and psychology. While witnesses of this god-like creature encourage others to see him, afterwards, people seem terrified. As the narrator recounts his experiences, he becomes disoriented. By the end of the story, the narrator and the other viewers of Nyarlathotep begin to lose touch with reality.

A very unnerving 10 minute short, but very little plot actually happens or is explained.

Creepy but plotless

short and somehow very similar to other stories from the author, the same themes and rough ideas, this monster otherworld from which god-like beings come to rule or wreck havoc on Earth. i don't think i would have minded that much if these were only a few of the author's stories, but it seems he was focusing on this theme a lot...most of the things i've seen so far from Lovecraft felt very similar.
