Another fab book by Jane Henry. Right when you think the story is going one way, there is a twist. I like that main characters were both strong. I’m starting the next in the series right away.

Great story and so well written. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. It’s so nice to follow the Rossi family and hear about previous characters from the other books.

Jane Henry continues to amaze me with another brilliant mafia romance. I am loving this series each book features a different family member as the lead character, timelines pick up soon after the prior book ends and while each book stands on it own, I highly recommend enjoying the books in order, not only are they all amazing stories but it is beneficial to know who the other players are and you will get the most out of the mafia world building which is phenomenal. This third “Deviant Doms” book is Ottavio “Tavi” Rossi and Elise Regazzo’s story. Elise, a mafia princess, grew up knowing she had no choice of husbands, that her father would arrange her marriage to strengthen his power and alliances. In the second book, we saw she fell in love with her bodyguard despite knowing she was supposed to be saving herself for her future husband. She and her friend came up with a plan to bide time so she could runaway with her love. But that plan was an epic fail, they capture her, and agree the best thing for the family would be to go thru with the wedding, but to a different Rossi. Tavi is the underboss for the Rossi family, his last attempt at an arranged married left a nasty taste in his mouth and he is ok with this new arrangement and since no one betrays his family, he plans on making her pay for her betrayal. But not everything goes as planned and somewhere along the line, these two fall for each other. This cleverly plotted mafia romance has plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. Jane Henry, thank you for another wildly amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧 📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross continue to deliver an outstanding performance, bringing these characters and their story to life. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, love how they take each role, run with it and make it their own. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to, their narration enhances the story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
