started out good but got so annoyed with the female character who couldnt stand up to her own brother. gave up on it. prefer my characters to have more grit, dont like womens passivity modelled in this day and age.

So this woman teaches his horse something really important but fails to tell him so he injures himself badly, then gets him in trouble with her brother, letting him drive off in anger and not telling him the truth, totally ignores safety advice and an inexperienced person goes off into the night to search.

Then she gets her guy and she wants him to move off the massive ranch he loves do much.

She is an awful character and totally not believable .

Good narration and I stuck with it but it wasn’t great.
