I just listened to a really dark book and needed a break. Had this in my wish list and thought it would be an easy, spicy sports romance. But it’s a lot more than that it’s emotional and thoughtful and yes spicy but nicely done and now I just want pastries 😂. It’s was heartfelt not heartbreaking and gentle and left me as so many have with a happy glow. Writing great and narration as you would imagine just wonderful. Thank you for the uplifting. After always going for the dark I’m finding more and more that I love the light. Lovely. 🥰

Of the 20 or so MM Sport titles I have downloaded, this is -- definitely -- the best. Plot, characterisation, performance ... are all top notch.
I particularly appreciated the inclusion of some pertinent societal issues (not to the extent of interfering with the story, but certainly making it more relevant and realistic) -- such as domestic violence and substance abuse.
