Due to his past Cash doesn’t believe he is worthy of love so even though he would do anything for those he cares about he holds himself at a distance. That is about to change when Daisy, his first and only love, comes back into his life hoping that he will protect her and her children from her ex. He knows that he will always love Daisy, but he isn’t about to let her into his life and the danger that goes along with it.

Daisy has loved Cash since she was a teenager, but a devastating turn of events tore them apart. She went on to get married and have a family, but when she realizes she is in danger she knows there is only one person who can protect her and that man is Cash.

Cash’s relationship with Daisy’s children is adorable as they break through his walls and is always willing to do whatever they ask. Even though Cash and Daisy haven’t been together the chemistry and connection between them is stronger than ever as they help each other heal from the past. Samantha Brentmoor never fails to entertain as she brings out the strength and resilience of Daisy while Sean Masters brings out both the growly and possessive sides of Cash.

This is the fifth and final book in the Moonlit Ridge series, a small-town romantic suspense—and another excellent addition to this amazing series. Daisy and Cash’s story is beautifully written, entertaining, and captivating. Cash is a grumpy giant—enigmatic and protective. Daisy, a single mom, is sweet, sunshine, and strong. They complement each other perfectly. Daisy’s kids are adorable! I loved the friendships throughout this series. It’s a wonderful grumpy/sunshine romance, and I really enjoyed it. Samantha Brentmoor and Sean Masters did an outstanding job bringing these characters and this story to life. They’re perfect as Daisy and Cash. I highly recommend this series.

I said this about every single one of these books I read in this series, but I think I have settled and Cash is my favorite. Hands down. I totally love him 😊

Cash and Daisy were high school best friends. They met when she literally toppled over her bike and he was the guy who helped her, since then they were best friends. Until life happened.

Cash is sort of a recluse, lives secluded and spends time with his brothers and their club, the Sovereign Sanctum. Until he finds Daisy camping on his property with her three kids, on the run from her ex-husband. From the minute he saw her again he knew he would do anything to protect her and her kids.

Daisy knew that when she was in trouble, there was no one else that could help her, but her friend Cash. She didn’t trust anyone to look out for her and her kids besides him, now all she needs to do is convince him that he needs them in his life…

I loved Cash and Daisy’s story. I think what made it even better for me was the kids. I totally fell in love with the whole dynamic. Cash tried to keep them at a distance, but there was no way he couldn’t fall for all four of them 😊

The narration was spot on. Samantha Brentmoor and Sean Masters brought all the characters to life for me; I didn’t want the story to end. They even perfected the kids voices so amazingly. Loved everything about this story! The Small town, single mom, friends to lovers, second chance, found family, suspense romance, what more could you want 😊

I am going to miss this series and all these amazing heroes ❤❤

Cash and Daisy’s story was the absolute perfect way to end the Moonlit Ridge series! This story captured my attention from start to finish. I loved seeing Cash get his happily ever after he truly deserved! It was everything I needed and more. On the Brink of Bliss is a suspenseful, swoony, steamy story that is full of mystery and danger. Daisy is a single mom to three children and is currently on the run. She is looking for the only person she believes will keep her safe. When Cash finds out what’s going on, he stops at nothing to keep Daisy and her children safe. Cash and Daisy have so much chemistry and I’m so glad they found their way back to each other!

The audiobook was phenomenal! Savannah Brentmoor and Sean Masters were the most perfect casting for Daisy and Cash! The emotion they both brought to their performances was incredible! I was completely consumed by their performances.

I loved everything about this book and this series, and while it is sad that this is the last book, A.L. Jackson gave her characters a blissful and worthy ending. And with every ending, there is a new beginning, a spin-off of sorts starting with Silas’ story, and this won’t be the end of seeing these amazing characters of the Moonlit Ridge, which made me happy. As much as I would like to say that Jackson left the best story for last, Cash Cunningham and Daisy Adair’s story, I can’t because each book was just as amazing as the last and so were the characters. Cash and Daisy were each other’s person, meeting when they were young, immediately bonding and becoming best of friends and so much more. But tragedy strikes the Cunningham family, and Cash bails, and Daisy never saw him again. She moved on, married, and had three adorable children, but her husband, Ethan, was not who she thought he was. On the run, she looks for the only person she can trust to help her and keep her and her children safe. Cash is the hacker for the Sovereign and is the most reclusive and closed off of the group of guys, the founders of the secret society. Cash and Daisy have not seen each other in years, and she caught him off guard, so their reunion was great, and I loved his reaction to the kids too. I loved watching these two reacquaint themselves and learn more about them and their backstories. Cash, who thinks he is undeserving of anything good, pushes her away, but there were unresolved feelings between them and a chemistry stronger than ever. Jackson created another masterpiece of a story here, a cleverly plotted story pieced together perfectly to bring it full circle, and I loved how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and a slow-burn, but so worth the wait, steamy romance. As always, the writing, plot, and world-building are phenomenal, as are the character growth and development. It was great seeing and catching up with the rest of the crew, and it warmed my heart to see this found family's strong bond and friendships, a brotherhood that grew and continues to grow. A.L. Jackson, thank you for another exceptional story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧Samantha Brentmoor and Sean Masters, an ideal pairing and cast to bring the characters to life, deliver an exceptional performance with voices that are fitting for a perfect portrayal of each. Brentmoor was fabulous in Daisy’s role, grasping every aspect of her personality, and Master did the same as Cash and was just as fabulous. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the side and secondary characters too, kids included, who were absolutely adorable. They set the right tone for the story, conveyed all the characters’ emotions in their performance, making you feel each one. These two entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to, and their captivating performance rivets you to the story
