About this listen

You can run from the grave, but you can't hide...

Half-vampire Cat Crawfield is now Special Agent Cat Crawfield, working for the government to rid the world of the rogue undead. She's still using everything Bones, her sexy and dangerous ex, taught her, but when Cat is targeted for assassination, the only man who can help her is the vampire she left behind.

Being around him awakens all her emotions, from the adrenaline kick of slaying vamps side by side to the reckless passion that consumed them. But a price on her head—wanted: dead or half-alive—means her survival depends on teaming up with Bones. And no matter how hard she tries to keep things professional between them, she'll find that desire lasts forever... and that Bones won't let her get away again.

So I absolutely LOVE this series! I'm completely in love with Danny Gavigan's performance of Bones (*cough* Spike *cough*). This series the right blend of exciting action and vampiric steam. My only disappointment is that the Graphic Audio versions are perhaps a bit too abridged...I saw a discussion on Reddit, saying that the best steamy scene between Cat and Bones was in the second book, so I got really excited...Only to discover, that there was no such scene in the GA version...Devastated! The steamy scenes are the primary hook! Why GA?! Why?!...I could listen to the regular version, but I need to hear Bones in Danny Gavigan's voice!! I'm not a huge fan of Yazmin Twazon (sp?)'s performances though. She does a good job, but her intination is really weird and I find it distracting throughout. I had a hard time with her as the lead in Shannon Meyer's Elemental series by GA as well. Otherwise Graphic Audio put on a great production as always.
