If I had a nickel every time I encountered a series about King Arthur in the modern day facing SPOILER as an adversary I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice

Now that’s out of my system the series took a turn I honestly wasn’t expecting mostly in tone and I don’t mean that necessarily in a bad way

This story leans far more into the drama then it’s predecessor most notably with the two main comedic characters of Arthur’s group not present though there’s not a complete absence of humour as it’s still Peter David and there a few jokes I rewound a few times

Some characters did return from the previous story and expanded on in ways that I honestly didn’t expect

As always the Graphic Audio team brings in their A game and I don’t think there’s much I can add there

More Drama Less Funny Still Great
