I was initially quite disappointed when I realised I’d bought a collection of short stories as I’m not really a fan of them, prefer a longer meatier read. But really enjoyed these stories. Helped fill in some of the background of the main characters. Love writing style and narration.

Although this is a collection of short stories, they are still quite long. Alongside the excellent narration, which draws you so much into each storyline, I thought it was an excellent collection of stories, and I’m sure I will listen to this audio book again.

It was great to listen to these short stories about our favourite Detectives and their adventures. A couple of them also give more insight into their earlier years. Most enjoyable.
