I love these locked room premises, but this one for me at least, was too predictable. I found Leonie to be exceptionally irritating, and given that I work in legal, all the laws she broke annoyed me too. There wasn’t one character I actually liked, finding them all very predictable and I had the twists worked out long before they happened. I did read it in one sitting, yes, but only so I could get to the end, before writing this. A good try, and very well performed, but there was no justice for the right people. It also left me with a lot of unanswered questions, and I don’t like books that do that. I had so many things that were left unanswered.
