We always thought the biggest threat to humanity would come from the outside.

We were wrong.

As the human race picks up the pieces of destruction left behind, a new world order emerges. New alliances are formed. Old divisions are strengthened. And, with a power struggle fuelled by the threat of mutually assured destruction, nothing is certain.

At a time when the world's nations should have been coming together, they have never been more divided.

With the human race teetering on the brink of total war, Rose, Vincent and Eva must choose sides. But doing the right thing might mean making the ultimate sacrifice.

Praise for Waking Gods
Pure, unadulterated literary escapism featuring giant killer robots and the looming end of mankind. In a word: unputdownable
Kick-ass, one-on-one robot action combines with mind-bending scientific and philosophical speculation. Series science-fiction fans will enjoy this follow-up filled with unexpected revelations and a surprise finale
A superb follow-up - we can't wait to see where Neuvel takes this story next
Praise for Sleeping Giants
A page-turner of the highest order!
This year's The Martian... if you want a captivating story with some serious sci-fi elements and dark undertones, this is it! So good and so eerie
It bursts at the seams with big ideas. This book is a sheer blast from start to finish (Blake Crouch, author of Dark Matter and the bestselling Wayward Pines trilogy)
One of the most promising series kickoffs in recent memory

I was a little sceptical of having all those narrators but it worked great. There's large robot fighting, conventional warfare, an armed uprising, aliens, politics, a toy store, a weird Russian and aliens (again).

The ending fits the story. It covers the time line and introduces some very interesting new characters.

As alien stories go this is a must listen/read. As any story, this is a must!

Give all three a try, you shouldn't be disappointed with them.

A great finish!

Persevered because I wanted to know what happened, but felt very much like young adult fiction. Being bashed over the head with sociology and political concepts in a very worthy way did make me cringe at times. Was left feeling satisfied with the series though.

Like being bashed over the head with politics!

I have loved this trilogy, fantastic story telling, amazing delivery by narrators. I’ve listened to the books back to back in just a few days. Pure enjoyment, thank you Sylvain.

Loved this trilogy.

It's been a brilliant ride listening to this story, parts 1 & 2 are original and fresh and a real pleasure to listen to, excellent narration, engaging characters. Part 3 is a disappointment, mainly due to a shifting of focus to a minor teenage character who never seems real, behaves ridiculously and I'm sorry to say is narrated annoyingly. Takes the whole book into teen fiction territory that is really hard to get through, kind of wish I'd stopped at number 2.

Parts 1 & 2 are great, part 3 not so much

I was worried the final book if the trilogy would stand up to the incredible first and second parts but this was as perfect a finale as I could hope to read along with the continuation of the best ensemble voice cast I've ever heard, I'm already counting the seconds to his new trilogy.

A genius and unique sci-fi masterpiece
