Only in Easton is a light-hearted, heartwarming and incredibly funny novel that I absolutely loved from start to finish. Living in a village and being part of a committee myself, so much of it felt brilliantly relatable—it really captures those little quirks and characters you only find in village life.

The talent show scenes had me properly laughing out loud, and the humour runs all the way through without ever losing that lovely, feel-good warmth.

I listened to it on audio, and it was beautifully read—so engaging and easy to get lost in. I was drawn into the characters straight away, and by the end of the book they genuinely felt like old friends.

A huge well done to this talented new author—what a fantastic debut! I’ll definitely be looking out for more.

If you’re after something uplifting, funny and full of charm, I’d really recommend giving this a read (or listen!). Go and support a brilliant new voice—you won’t regret it.

I really thought I would enjoy this from reading the summary, but the performance was poor (cheap sound quality, not professional sounding) and the story just wasn't one that I found entertaining
