I really enjoyed listening to this brilliant account of how Geoff grew out of acting and into a renovation contractor. The twists and turns of his contracting career had me laughing out loud as I drove. Geoff's narration, particularly the accents and impersonations, are fantastic and really made the book for me. I'll definitely be reccomending it!

I'm taking a moment in the middle of this excellent memoir to give it all the stars. I can't imagine a more warm, personable, engaging memoir about what it's like to become a renovation contractor. Geoff does a beautiful job narrating it (not surprising as he's an actor as well as a wonderful writer). You don't have to know anything about building to be interested in this book, but if you happen to be involved in your own renovation, building or general home-improvement work, it will be extra fun for you.
