loved it kept me wanting my journey to and from work longer as I always wanted to know what was going to happen next

Enjoyed the idea of the story and the writing but the awful narration ruined it in places especially the attempts at Texan and Irish accents which sounded much more Scottish! Some female characters sounded like men.
Do authors not listen to the recordings once done? If it was my book I’d want to listen to make sure the characters were believable when narrated. Quite off putting at times.

Took me a while to get into the book & even when I did it wasn’t really my thing. Too many characters but I think that was probably down to the narrator if I’m being totally honest. Her accent’s weren’t exactly American or Irish. 🙈🙈
