Paul, Apostle of Christ is the story of two men. Luke, as a friend and physician, risks his life every time he ventures into the city of Rome to visit Paul, held captive in Nero's bleakest prison cell. Before Paul's execution, Luke resolves to write another book, one that details the beginnings of "The Way" and the birth of what will come to be known as the church. But Nero is determined to rid Rome of Christians.

This is one of the best audio books I have listened to so far. I saw the film version when it came out but this is so much better. The narrator is superb and very natural in his reading. I could not stop listening. Highly recommended.

Excellent all round

An enlightening depiction of Paul's very complicated life; triggering appropriately, a yearning for the opportunity to do an identifying exercise as well as use one's imagination, within The Word..

Illuminating!

This was brilliantly written. It left me wanting more and I didn’t want the story to end. While I do not agree with the interpretation of some scriptural positions taken by the author overall what a well thought out book.

Insightful

A wonderful book, well written, and full of dramatic twists and turns. The characters were relatable and the theme of the Apostle Paul's last days with the backdrop of Christian persecution under Nero made for a tense novel.

Great story, fantastic narration!
