This was a captivating listen. Through many twists and turns the plot unfurls into the final crescendo..... but was there a second man????

I enjoyed the book. I actually usually like unabridged long books... I read previous reviews that say the story is far fetched... it is, however, isn’t that one of the reasons why we delve into books - it would be a sad world if we didn’t read Superman because man cannot fly. However, for me the story for me did go on & I lost interest towards the end.

Although I found this hard at the beginning thinking it wasn’t for me the storyline gripped me. The detail in which Adam Hamdy writes is amazing and you can visualise every kick, punch and hanging and almost feel it. The reason for Max Burns murder spree is so realistic and you can almost understand the reason why although not an excuse. Brilliant book one onto Book 2
