There is something about the Aussie story lines that seem to stand out as particularly heartwarming with extra scoops of humour and realism. This book ticks all those boxes this great narration - I definitely recommend it.

Perks of Office is a refreshingly funny and tender story. Cat Gould’s deadpan narrative style suits the first person point of view.

Really funny at times. This is one of the few audiobooks in its genre that maybe would be even more fun as an actual book. A simple politics romcom without unnecessary details and a very amusing femme couple. The age gap is never discussed, the main character has a great development and the overall story is smooth and enjoyable. If you are frantically browsing through similar books this is one of the two that I have found so far. Great narration, seems like the actor are enjoying themselves as well. 5 stars in its field.

Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook & Cat Gould rocked the narration. I'm glad it was on audible plus, as I probably would have been irked had I bought it, but for what it was it was very good. A fun & light easy listen. Granted, there were more plot holes than a rabbits burrow & the overall flow was a smidge infuriating, but even with the rushed happy ending, it was sweet & surprisingly spicy in parts. Would recommend.
