A brilliant boxset that kept me enthralled from start to finish. The worldbuilding is fabulous, the mysteries are well plotted and there are lots of great characters and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.
Hannah Somerville’s narration is fantastic.

A great series in a complete book box to enjoy Jolene's and her friends adventures with the help of a handsome police officer and his wll trained but a bit grumpy trained dog. You will fall in love with the characters and will support them in their journey to happiness and love. Great as a audiobook

Love this series. Normally I write a review for each book in a box set but with this box set you have the complete series, that's eight exceptional stories that are simply magical and it would take you hours to read my review. So instead I am just going to say each book continues on from the last with a case solved in each book and a long running mystery that runs throughout, it is like sitting back and enjoying one long book written by a master of her craft. Each book is entering and packed full of delightful characters that you can't help but love, especially the snarky police dog Daisy and her relationship with both Peter and Jolene. There are far to many great characters to pick a favourite from talking dogs to bear shifting vets.In the last book we even have a cross over with the authors other series (Spells and Caramels) which was a lot of fun and a great way to round up the series. Each mystery is very different from the last and will keep you up all night listening. This author is one of my favourites and this series is an excellent example of why. A must read or listen for everybody.

To review this, i had to play with the volume off! As i ‘have not listened to enough ‘ to write a review. THAT THE POINT!! I couldnt listen to it, the narrators voice was terrible!!! As soon as she started talking, i wanted to switch off. But i tried to see if i could get used to it, as sometimes you can get used to a….not too pleasant voice, narrator. Think i lasted a few paragraphs, on low…very low… no idea what the story was like, sorry! And this review may not be allowed, but i would think authors would have a say on who speaks their words!? LISTEN BEFORE YOU BUY! I often do, but not this time. Never again!
