About this listen
A heartwarming, clever, and memorable cozy mystery series, where this time the Pineapple Port crew vacations in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The series features found family, small-town secrets, charming humor, and always a twisty mystery. The relationships between young and old, sprinkling of romance, small-town warmth, and the cast of unforgettable characters will make Pineapple Port Mysteries your new favorite series!
By Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Amy Vansant.
The Pineapple Port crew takes a road trip to the Outer Banks, North Carolina, only to discover “body bits” in their vacation home. The nursing home next door is run by some suspicious characters and one of their residents is missing. Hmm...
As the bits o' somebody pile up (and Mariska keeps the neat and safe in a butter dish), amateur sleuth Charlotte Morgan and her friends must solve the murder before a storm blows them all back to Florida!
For fans of cozy mysteries with a fantastic ensemble cast, touches of romance and characters as loving as they are brave.

It contained the usual characters and humorous moments that have you laughing out loud but what was usual was the setting, I liked them being stuck on the beach in a storm. I really enjoyed the mystery as it unfolded and the little clues the author gave you as to who the killer was. It kept you guessing.
Charlotte and her friends go on a working holiday and it's not lot long before it turns into a bus mans holiday for Pi's Charlotte and Seamus when body parts start turning up in the house (the book is a cozy mystery so no graphic details are used to explain the parts . I am just glad that you can't get smells from listening to a book). With the only neighbours in the area a nursing home and no way for the police to get to the remote location, it's up to them to find a killer and more importantly a body.
Another plus to this book is the narrator as she does such a brilliant job with all the voices.
I highly recommend this book if you need a laugh.
