Summary

At first I was unsure about this book but it got going about 1/3 of the way through and I enjoyed it after that point.

not sure if the author got better as it went on to but little works that got me at first didn't occur towards the end of the book.

I’m only part way through this but struggling to persevere with it.
Disjointed story, unrealistic (game-wise) level progression, impossible victories in combat with improbable monsters.

Good knowledge of Basic RPG rules great story and mostly imaginating gamę world ive sean in this one

Narration was OK. A few mispronounced words. Sometimes hard to tell characters apart (mentioned in other reviews).

Translation on the whole was good. Maybe could have done with a final pass by a native English speaker to make some of the phrasing a little more natural (especially when cursing).

As for the story again it's OK. Not great, not terrible maybe a little below average. The main character is unlikeable, driven by greed and a bit of a dick. The world the author created (both real and virtual) has promise but lacks a backstory to help tie everything together. We're left knowing virtually zero about the real world and very little about the virtual one as well.

I might try the next book to see if it improves but overall this was a little bit of a chore to finish so I'm not driven to find out what happens next.

the performance was fine nothing extraordinary, the story was what really let this book down it's about a generally unlikeable main character who is just greedy and a bit dickish also the world feels flat and empty. if it is free then it's fine but if not then don't bother with it.

instead of getting this then get "he who fights with Monsters"
