Read this back in 1991 for the first time and have read it many times since. The audible version does it full justice. Still one of the best novels ever.

Loved this audible version of Polo from start to finish. I've read the books years ago and wanted to try the audible version. The narrator's voice was easy to listen too and not off putting like some audible books I've tried. I love how long the books are too. I will be downloading Riders next!

As a horse lover I enjoyed the easy listening, country living and animals, didn’t know much about polo particularly so that was good to learn about. Took me a bit longer to get into this one maybe than the other J cooper books I have listened but Id recommend to persist but was just as good in the end.

I loved this book when I read it as a teenager so I was delighted to see that Audible had finally re-released it. Sherri Baines does a wonderful job. Still my favourite of the Rutshire Chronicles, Sherri really brings it to life. If you love Jilly Coppers books you will love this recording.
