So much fun! Eli finally gets his story and talk about alpha romantic man! He has fallen for Jackson's sister Cici from the moment he met her. But their feelings isn't enough to keep her. She has a fear of commitment that draws her away from home and Eli. But when Jackson calls her home to cover for him, she does and now the proximity they have is pulling them together. Now faced with a deadline for marriage, he does his best to win her heart. But is it enough? These two have the most incredible chemistry. The perfect mix for me of passion and frustration as they worked their way to each other. Plus seeing all the others, the girls helping Cici out, Jackson as he is looking for Mia and Sebastian as he worries for his brother all kept me engaged and happy. This is a fabulous book and great addition to the series.

Sebastian York and Ava Erickson head this one up and they are so good, it's like these characters were written for them. York is Eli, insufferably patient and sensually charged. Erickson is Cici, a bit messed up but incredibly smart and passionate. Add in the others, Teddy Hamilton, Savannah Peachwood, Vanessa Edwin, Aaron Shedlock and Aiden Snow reprising their roles it a fantastic time. Loved every minute.

This book was like a rollercoaster with its ups and downs. So much happens in this one with the time jumps, and some moments might have you wondering why you're being told about things after the fact instead of reading them on page, but it all has its purpose. There's a lot of ground time wise to get through in this one, so if the author gave it all, it would be a much, much longer book. The end wraps everything up in a satisfying way and made me relieved that they finally got over their stuff and got together.

I listened to this one on audiobook, and I really enjoyed how it was done. All these narrators did a really good job of bringing these characters to life and put so much into them that you won't be able to think of them without hearing these voices.

This whole series blew me away but this book may be my favorite (even though it’s really hard to choose), in large part because I already felt invested in these characters from the previous books. Cici and Eli have such a soulmate feel to them, but this is a perfect example of a character getting in their own way. The beauty of this story is that the effort was put forth to recognize and work on the underlying issues before moving forward with the romance aspect. Full of angst and emotion due to outside factors, including the close knit bond between their mutual friends and family, this one will pull on all your heartstrings.

This audio was perfection. There is nothing better in the audiobook world than a multi-cast in duet and this one was performed beautifully. The two main narrators really nailed the emotional aspect of this story and acted these scenes out with such passion! Between the talent of the narrators and the interesting plot of the story this was an easy un-pausable listen!

Eli had been content to keep his relationships casual however when it came to Cici his heart didn’t agree. He wants a future with her, but she has made her opinions on relationships quite clear, so when he finds himself needed to marry and she won’t agree he believes the only option is to move forward with another woman.

Cici has always loved Eli, but she was reluctant to commit to a relationship with anyone and that includes Eli. She thought she had made peace with her decision and his choice to move forward without out until an accident changes everything especially since it isn’t only themselves to consider.

At times these characters will test your patience especially when it comes to Eli and his engagement and Cici’s indecision but their tumultuous relationship and feelings for each other certainly bring out the emotions of this story. Ava Erickson does a wonderful job of portraying the hot mess that Cici is while Sebastian York brings all the feels when it comes to Eli. The additional group of characters bring out the close relationship they share with the other characters

This is the fourth book in The Pursuit series, a collection of standalone steamy romances, and another fantastic addition. The stories are interconnected, and I loved seeing familiar faces from the previous books again. Cici and Eli’s story was such a joy to listen to. Their journey is fun, passionate, entertaining, and engaging, and it ended up being my favorite in the series—probably because of all the interactions between the characters. I truly love this series and its cast of characters. Sebastian York, Ava Erickson, Teddy Hamilton, Savannah Peachwood, Vanessa Edwin, Aaron Shedlock, and Aiden Snow did a fantastic job bringing this story to life. I highly recommend this series.
